  The highlight for us with Nelson's Oasis was how close it was to the most beautiful beach - think Hyams Beach without the crowds and the tourists and that is... read more Nelson's beach. You literally walk 200m out the back of the house and you are at the beach. There is an easy bush track that runs parallel to the beach and takes you along to Hyams or other little beaches tucked along the coastline. That's a must do. In terms of the house, it was sparkling clean, cosy with the gas fire, and with a lovely modern kitchen and lounge room. The water pressure was awesome, beds comfy, bathroom spotless, and with a flat rear lawn only steps to the cycle path to Husky. Our hosts Kirstin and Mark were super responsive and helpful and really cared that we were enjoying the area and their property. I'd definitely stay again.
